Job Description

Red Orange is currently looking for a qualified and experienced Warehouse Manager on behalf of our client, a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions. This role is dedicated to pioneering and optimizing operations at the newly established distribution center in Hai Phong.

  • Location: Hai Phong Fresh Distribution Center (Hai Phong Fresh DC)

  • Reports to: WCM Operation Part Leader

  • Salary: Negotiable (Highly competitive based on capability)

JOB OVERALL SCOPE

The Warehouse Manager is fully responsible for managing the entire daily operations of the Hai Phong Fresh Distribution Center. This role acts as a key bridge between clients, Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), and internal departments within company to ensure seamless, efficient, and cost-effective supply chain operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Daily Operations & Performance Management

  • Supervise, monitor, and direct all warehouse activities to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Manage, forecast, and secure sufficient and cost-effective outsourced (OS) manpower booking for daily operational needs.

  • Handle daily inbound and outbound tracking, manpower usage, and prepare accurate operational reports for management and clients.

  • Promptly address and resolve any operational issues, bottlenecks, or irregularities; escalate critical matters to the immediate WCM Part Leader when necessary.

  • Review and approve daily overtime (OT) hours in strict compliance with company policies and Vietnamese Labor Law.

  • Closely monitor and control the usage of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Unit Load Devices (ULD), and warehouse consumable materials to minimize waste.

  • Enforce and maintain 5S principles, occupational safety, and security regulations across all warehouse areas.

2. Weekly Planning & Monitoring

  • Prepare and submit weekly comprehensive status reports regarding warehouse capacity, productivity, and manpower.

  • Review upcoming inbound/outbound and manpower booking plans to optimize productivity levels and ensure targets are achieved.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of automation systems within the warehouse.

3. Monthly Cost Control & Development

  • Oversee and verify Goods Receipt (GR) and Goods Issue (GI) monthly data reports.

  • Process, review, and approve extra-cost cases, additional claims, and resolve billing discrepancies.

  • Lead the preparation, documentation, and formal presentation of monthly KPI reports to stakeholders.

  • Monitor and strictly control overall operating costs, including labor, materials, and equipment maintenance.

  • Oversee and execute regular training plans for warehouse staff to improve professional skills, safety awareness, and minimize operational errors.

4. Process Improvement & Other Duties

  • Lead continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to enhance warehouse layout, workflow efficiency, and overall productivity.

  • Execute other tasks and projects as assigned by the management team.

Job Requirement

  • Education: University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in logistics and warehouse operations (Mandatory).

    • At least 5 years of experience in a Warehouse Manager or equivalent leadership role (Mandatory).

    • Strongly Preferred: Proven experience in managing Fresh Foods, Cold-chain logistics, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) distribution centers.

  • Technical & System Skills:

    • High proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.

    • Excellent MS Office skills (Advanced Excel, Access, etc.).

  • Soft Skills & Attributes:

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making capabilities.

    • Ability to work independently, handle multi-tasking, and thrive under heavy workload pressures.

    • Fluency in English (especially strong in reading, writing, and preparing corporate reports).

    • Flexibility to work overtime when required to ensure fresh food operational timelines.
