- Report to: Country Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. Objective
- To assume overall responsibility for the Human Resources function with a key focus on expanding the team to a world class level, implementing key initiatives and supporting the business in all areas of HR.
2. Responsibilities
- Support the Country Manager and other key members of senior management advising on HR policies, recruitment, and other matters in line with the business needs of Vietnam market.
- Establishment and delivery of a unified HR reporting system.
- Contribute to the development of strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management in terms of Human Resources.
- Develop strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues.
- Contribute information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction.
- Establish human resources objectives within Vietnam business in line with organizational objectives.
- Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, regional HR compliance, and labor relations.
- Manage human resources in Vietnam operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining leading staff.
- Ensure efficiency of all HR administrative processes and activities and high level of HR services.
- Plan, monitor, appraise, and review staff job contributions.
- Maintain compensation at market level in line with Group guidelines.
- Designing systems, accumulating resources, resolve problems and implement change.
- Develop human resources Vietnam operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances.
- Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Update job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or relevant fields.
2. Job Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in a senior HR related role gained within a well-reputable international organisation;
- Extensive hands-on experience in managing the HR department;
- Systematic approach to problem detection and solving, strong analytical skills;
- A proven track record of people management;
- Ability to handle a unionized working environment;
- Strong competency in initiation and implementation of new operational approaches;
- Exceptional understanding of personalities and behavioral styles to work collaboratively with a variety of people and to make informed decisions around resourcing, reporting structures and relationships;
- Expert in employment law and employee relations and communication in Vietnam;
- Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade in human resources, file management, and benefits administration;
- Experience in organization development and change management;
- Experience managing external employment agencies, recruiters, and temporary staffing agencies;
- Solid knowledge of Vietnam labor market;
- Fluent written and spoken English language capabilities.
