DATA ANALYSIS OFFICER

On behalf of our client –  the packaging manufacturing industry - seeking a highly qualified professional to join their team as a Data Analysis Officer.

The detailed job description is outlined below:

• Position: Data Analysis Officer

• Reports to: IT Manager / Head of Data

• Working Location: Long An

• Working Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday - Friday & 2 optional Saturdays each month

? MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Data Collection & Management

• Gather, clean, and consolidate data from various internal manufacturing and business systems (such as ERP, MRP, and shop-floor databases).

• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all corporate data storage platforms.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Perform comprehensive statistical analysis on production metrics, supply chain efficiency, material consumption, and operational costs.

• Develop, maintain, and automate periodic business intelligence (BI) dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for management.

• Identify operational trends, patterns, and anomalies to support data-driven decision-making.

3. Process Optimization Support

• Collaborate closely with production planning, logistics, and quality control (QC) teams to identify operational bottlenecks and areas for efficiency improvement.

• Provide analytical insights and quantitative data to help optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and minimize deadstock.

4. Data Governance & Security

• Assist in establishing and implementing data governance policies, standard operating procedures, and data security controls.

• Safeguard sensitive business, operational, and candidate/employee information in absolute confidentiality.

1. Education & Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.

• Strong experience with Business Intelligence and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Microsoft Excel.

2. Professional Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a similar quantitative analysis role.

• Prior experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment, supply chain analytics, or working with ERP/MRP database architectures is highly advantageous.

3. Core Skills:

• Good command of English – both written and verbal (essential for technical documentation and collaboration with global teams).

• Exceptional analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and complex problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong cross-functional communication and presentation skills to effectively translate complex data into practical business insights.

4. Attitude & Professionalism:

• Serious, honest, and highly meticulous working manner with a strong eye for detail.

• Leading by example in showing respect to superiors and colleagues, maintaining strict workplace discipline and factory rules.

• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working under pressure to deliver accurate analytical reports on time.

• Respect the office environment: strictly no late arrivals/early departures, no disruptive noise, and no gathering for eating or drinking during working hours.
