TECHNICAL MANAGER (TRƯỞNG PHÒNG KỸ THUẬT)

Red Orange's Client is a company that specializes in Agriculture industry and is looking for a Technical Manager (Trưởng phòng Kỹ thuật Viện Nghiên cứu) high qualified candidate for the position at the moment.

• Working location: Bạc Liêu
• Salary: Negotiable 
• Working time: Monday - Saturday (2 Saturdays off in month)

Responsibilities:

Leadership & team development:

• Manage the entire staff of the department (Lab staff, Value Consultant – Market Technical supporter).
  
• Monitor and ensure the department's daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  
• Coordinate work, schedule work and assign tasks to team members.
  
• Drafting and updating documents and professional knowledge in the field of aquaculture.
  
• Organizing guidance, training and sharing new knowledge on diagnostic and testing methods, advanced shrimp farming methods for staffs. Ensure the team has enough skills and knowledge to give the best advice and support to customers.
  

Manage professional activities:

• Tests, monitors, and oversees the product testing process to ensure accurate compliance with requested testing protocols.
  
• Creates Work Instructions, checks, and monitors all instruments in the chemical lab.
  
• Develops and validates analytical methods, Standard Operating Procedures, and other operational, safety, and quality documents as required.
  
• Stays updated on new standards, testing methods, and customer demands.
  
• Provides technical support to Marketing, Sales, and clients regarding testing, reporting, or technical inquiries.
  
• Manages the costs of chemicals and equipment necessary for the laboratory's day-to-day functioning.

• In-depth advice and support on technical aspects of shrimp farming, including system design, water environment management and disease prevention and treatment solutions.
  

Building and developing the connection with customers:

• Understand the needs of the Client by regularly visiting the Client.
  
• Organize seminars, share farming techniques, disease prevention and treatment with the customer system.
  

Other jobs:

• Participate and support other departments in research and development activities to improve the company's product quality and optimize farming methods.
  
• Planning – reporting work to superiors on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  
• Coordinate with other departments in the company to solve all customer related issues (if any).
  

• Male/female graduated from University, Master, Doctorate in fisheries-related majors such as: Aquaculture, aquatic pathology, aquatic resource management, etc.
  
• Can communicate in English.
  
• At least 3 years of experience in management and team development positions.
  
• Mastering the knowledge and experience of at least 5 years or more in methods and techniques for diagnosing and testing aquatic diseases, farming methods, water environment management, and disease prevention and treatment on shrimp.
  
• Good communication skills, able to build good relationships with customers and departments in the company.
• Willing to business trip to the market when the job is required.
• Can use office computer softwware such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint to make reports.
