PRODUCT DESIGN MANAGER

Red Orange's Client is a company that specializes in the Footwear industry and is looking for Product Design Manager high qualified candidate for the position at the moment.

• Working location: Gia Dinh Industrial Zone, Binh Duong
• Working time: 7.30 am - 16.30 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Strategy & Innovation: Lead the design and development of new product lines, materials, and concepts in line with market trends and client specifications.

• Client & Brand Collaboration: Work closely with key clients, footwear/brand design teams, and internal sales to interpret commercial requirements into functional product designs.

• Prototyping & Technical Feasibility: Manage sample development, rapid prototyping, and material testing to ensure design concepts are scalable and factory-ready.

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with R&D, Mold/Tooling, and Production teams to transition approved designs into mass manufacturing smoothly.

• Design Standards & Documentation: Establish product design guidelines, technical specification sheets (spec sheets), and color/texture standards across all projects.

• Team Leadership & Reporting: Direct and mentor the product design team, manage design project timelines, and present quarterly innovation pipelines to top management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Product Design Manager or Senior Product Developer in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in chemical, footwear materials, plastics, foam (PU/TPU), or textiles is a strong advantage.

• Strong technical background in material behavior, molding techniques, 2D/3D design software, and prototyping processes.

• Good command of English; proficiency in Korean is a strong plus.

• Salary: Negotiable
