Job Description

Red Orange's Client is a company that specializes in the Packaging industry and is looking for Process Engineer high qualified candidate for the position at the moment.

  • Working Location: Long An
  • Working Schedule: 8am- 5pm Mon - Fri & 2 optional Sat each month.
  • Salary: 20mil gross

I. MAIN DUTIES
Monitor and optimize production processes (film blowing, bag making, recycling, extrusion).

Support troubleshooting of equipment, process deviations, and product quality issues.

Conduct process trials and implement improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Maintain and update process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, parameter standards).

Train operators and technicians on process standards and best practices.

Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance to ensure stable operations.

Ensure compliance with BRC, BSCI, and internal quality/safety standards.

Other tasks assigned by the superior.

II. RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that production processes meet safety, quality, and effective standards.

Analyze production data and propose corrective and preventive actions.

Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S) within standard.

Maintain proper records and submit reports in a timely manner.

Coordinate with other departments to solve production-related issues.

Other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

III. COMMUNICATION AND REPORTING
Report work progress to the supervisor regularly.

Have the right to report directly to higher-level management or the General Director in cases where the issue has been reported but the immediate supervisor fails to address it or provides no response.

IV. AUTHORITY
Have the right to refuse unlawful requirements and not follow the company charter.

Have the right to refuse tasks in case of:

Unsafety working environment.

Unequipped labor safety devices.

Be equipped with proper labor safety devices.

Participate in professional training and labor safety courses in order to enhance knowledge and awareness of labor safety.

Propose innovations and improvements for work.

Have the right to request other departments to coordinate or provide information, documents, reports, or perform assigned tasks in accordance with the expertise of that department.

Take proactive action and responsibility for solving matters within the scope and rights of assigned tasks and report to the direct manager.

Other responsibilities as delegated by superiors.

V. WORKING HOURS AND CONDITIONS
Unless otherwise agreed, the standard working time is 48 hours per week. Overtime may be required depending on operational needs and shall be compensated in accordance with the Company’s policies and the working time provisions under the Labor Code.

Leave entitlements shall follow Company regulations.

Other benefits are provided as stipulated in the Collective Labor Agreement and the Labor Contract.


Job Requirement

Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Polymer).
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in Process Engineering or Plastics/Film Manufacturing.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of extrusion, film blowing, bag making, and recycling processes.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
Familiarity with quality management systems (BRC, ISO, GMP).
Soft Skills & Other Requirements
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Proficient in data analysis and report writing.
Continuous improvement mindset.
IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is highly preferred.
Languages: Vietnamese (fluent), English (working proficiency preferred).
