BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER-JAPANESE

Business Development Manager-Japanese high qualified candidate for the position at the moment.

• Working location: HCM
• Working time: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday
• Salary:  Around $3000 gross

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Expansion & New Business Acquisition

• Direct marketing and business development strategies specifically for the Japanese market within the rigid plastic packaging industry.

• Drive the acquisition of new customers and aggressively develop potential business across all corporate accounts.

• Pioneer new segment growth through customer acquisition specifically within the injection molding business sector.

• Identify and develop new business segments and high-potential customers in strict alignment with company targets.

2. Account Management, Tenders & Commercial Negotiations

• Follow up on active sales projects by carefully defining and evaluating customer needs.

• Establish, nurture, and maintain long-term corporate customer relationships.

• Fully participate in commercial tenders and execute all follow-up actions regarding offers, contract adjustments, and project status tracking.

• Lead all levels of pricing negotiations, corporate supply contracts, and financial agreements.

3. Strategic Analysis, Solutions & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Conduct deep market analysis on targeted customers and competitors within the North Asia region.

• Provide tailored solutions to support customers in optimizing their internal logistics and production activities.

• Elaborate comprehensive business plans and precise article calculations.

• Support, advise, and provide data-driven insights to Country Management for strategic decision-making.

• Coordinate all forms of customer requests and commercial inquiries, covering complex areas such as international tenders, finance, operations, quality assurance, or technical specifications.

• 1. Education & Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of solid business acquisition and marketing experience strictly within the rigid plastic packaging industry in Japan.

  2. Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be a local Japanese talent who is mobile and able to be based in Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, or China.

  • Excellent numerical and financial modeling skills.

  • Proficient computer skills, including advanced command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Basic spoken and written English proficiency (sufficient for internal reporting and regional coordination).

  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.

  • Strong analytical mind with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
