WASHING MANAGER

Red Orange's Client is a company that specializes in the Garment industry and is looking for a WASHING MANAGER high qualified candidate for the position at the moment.

• Working location: Ho Chi Minh City
• Salary: 65mil gross VND
• Report to: VP Sale & Production

MAIN DUTIES:

• End-to-End Quality Oversight:

• Oversee and manage the entire quality control process from from raw material inspection to finished product evaluation.
• Develop and implement quality standards and procedures for all stages of denim production.
• Identify and address quality issues promptly.
• Investigate the root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate and address issues related to washing, such as uneven color distribution, excessive fading, or other defects that may arise during the washing process.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent future issues.• Responsible for managing QC personnel and wash technician
• Process Development:
• Design and establish effective quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and subcontractors to integrate quality measures seamlessly into production workflows.
• Training and Development:
• Provide training to internal teams and subcontractors on quality control processes and standards.
• Foster a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement.
• Audits and Inspections:
• Conduct regular audits of internal operations and subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform inspections at key production stages to identify and address potential issues.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control processes and procedures.
• Generate regular reports on quality metrics and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaboration with Subcontractors:
• Establish strong working relationships with subcontractors, offering support in implementing and maintaining quality control measures.
• Collaborate on resolving quality issues and improving processes.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback and implementing lessons learned from quality issues.

•  Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
•  Experienced in wash - before and after wash

• Proven experience in quality assurance, particularly in denim manufacturing.

• Strong understanding of denim fabric characteristics and various stages of denim production.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing quality control systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and leadership abilities.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to textile and garment manufacturing.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Paid Time Off (PTO): 12 days per year, plus 1 day for each successive 5 years; 11 holidays per year; subject to changes in Vietnam labor law.
