VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING

Red Orange's Client is a company that specializes in the High Technology industry and is looking for Vice President of Engineering high qualified candidate for the position at the moment.

• Working time: Fulltime remote
• Salary: 8000-10000 USD/month

MAIN DUTIES

• Lead and oversee the technical architecture and development of AI-driven software solutions, especially in Computer Vision and Object Detection.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to ensure respect and alignment across engineering teams.
• Manage and coordinate across three core teams: Product, Software, and AI, driving cross-functional collaboration and execution.
• Restructure and optimize team workflows, processes, and communication for operational excellence.
• Take ownership of technical consulting activities across all project stages (pre-sale, execution, post-deployment) — aiming for 80%+ involvement in key processes.
• Actively contribute to architectural decisions, code quality standards, and system scalability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, especially LLMs (Large Language Models), and assess their potential integration into company products.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in software development, with a strong portfolio in AI/Computer Vision/Object Detection.
• Solid knowledge or hands-on experience with LLMs is a significant plus.
• Strong leadership and people management skills; able to earn respect from technical peers and manage teams with empathy and clarity.
• Demonstrated ability to build systems and define workflows from the ground up.
• Excellent communication skills, both in technical and team leadership contexts.
