Quality Director

Red Orange's Client is a company that specializes in the Garment industry and is looking for Quality Director high qualified candidate for the position at the moment.

• Working location: Thua Thien Hue
• Working time: Monday to Saturday
• Salary: Negotiable
• Report: Report to BOD

Main Duties:

• Quality Management System: Build, maintain and improve QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 and customer standards.
• Preventive Quality Control: Apply FMEA, SPC, Poka-Yoke and manage pre-production quality.
• Material & Supplier Quality: Set material standards, evaluate/develop suppliers and resolve defects at source.
• Final Inspection & Complaints: Manage AQL inspection, root cause analysis, corrective actions and customer complaints.
• Product & Market Compliance: Ensure product safety, chemical and labeling compliance, including OEKO-TEX and REACH.
• Production & Packing Control: Control production environment, contamination prevention and packing quality.
• Quality Innovation: Drive digitalisation, AI/vision inspection, predictive analytics, Quality by Design, equipment improvement and traceability.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen projects; standardise successful improvements across factories.
• People & Quality Culture: Develop Quality teams through training, coaching, succession planning and Six Sigma capability development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Garment Technology, Textiles, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or related fields; ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
• 10+ years of experience in apparel manufacturing, including 5+ years as Quality Manager or above.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, AQL, RCA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and data analysis/Excel.
• Experience in Lean, TQM, digital quality systems, AI/Automation, or Power BI is an advantage.
• Experience in intimate apparel/activewear, Japanese/European/American customers, and quality improvement projects is an advantage.
• Good business English; Japanese/French is an advantaged
