KNITTING MACHINE TECHNICIAN

Red Orange's Client is a company that specializes in the Garment industry and is looking for a Knitting Machine Technician high qualified candidate for the position at the moment.

• Working Time: 7h30 - 16h20 (Monday - Saturday)

• Report to: CEO (Australian)

• Manage: 5 team members

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Knitting Machine Technician to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the programming, operation, inspection, and maintenance of 40 Shima Seiki knitting machines, including Shim Whole garment Machines from gauges 18 to 3. This role requires a strong understanding of Shima Seiki Apex 3 applications and flat knitting machines in general.

Responsibilities:

• Set and adjust Shima Seiki knitting machine parameters including patterns, tensions, quantities, and speeds.
• Execute computer programs for automatic knitting production according to customer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on knitting machines.
• Conduct minor technical and electrical repairs on knitting machines.
• Review guides, technical manuals, charts, samples, and specification sheets to ensure optimal knitting production.
• Collaborate with the product developer to determine the best production outcome for clients.
• Conduct regular quality assessments of knit products and make necessary machinery adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Knitting Machine Technician.
• Strong understanding of Shima Seiki knitting machines, including Shim Whole garment Machines.
• Proficient in Shima Seiki Apex 3 applications.
• Experience with flat knitting machines in general.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic English.

• Salary:$1000 - $2000 per month (depending on experience)
