COLOR DEVELOPMENT & FINISHING MANAGER

Red Orange's Client is a company that specializes in the Luxury Furniture industry and is looking for a COLOR DEVELOPMENT & FINISHING MANAGER high qualified candidate for the position at the moment.

• Working location: Binh Duong
• Salary: 50 mil VNU (Gross) 
• Working time: Monday to Friday (08h00 - 17h00)
• Report to: Director

MAIN DUTIES:

• Develop colors according to customer requests. 

• Include substrate reasonable variance.      

• Include material yield and chemical costs.      

• Include quality requirements.     

• Optimize for repeatability and cost.    

• Handover and support to sample team.

• Calculate system sheet chemical usage per sqm with waist percentages for small surfaces like legs etc.     

• Manage customer development in a timely manner.     

• Ensure timely compleation of panel refresh tasks from Panel Management team.    

• Look at optimizing system sheets for easy repeatability.   

• Work with chemical suppliers to inform of ongoing issues and find solutions.    

• Work with QA to set material standards based on finishes. 

• Determine customer requirements to look and quality.        

• Link substrate specification, quality and variance to cost, shade-band and system sheet.        

• Make/development Panel Sets/ Sample Panel sets/ Production panel sets.      

• Make system sheets and work instruction.      

• Handover chemical consuption calculations to costing Handover skill to sample carcass and finishing team.     

• Initial Fix BOM 0 for sample.  

• Update BOM 1 following sample notes.

• Visible panel scheduling for production and CS.

• Managing staff hours, works in the department.

• Decide to recruit, promote and reward employees.

• Proposal for demotion, transfer, dismissal, discipline, compensation for employees when their employees make mistakes in the process and regulations of the Company resulting in damages.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English.

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Furniture field, especialy in Luxury Furniture.

• The candidate must have good experience in color development and production control skills in high end furniture making.
• Most be a confident and able Man- Manager with proven ability to drive/ control/ discipline and manage a production workforce.

• Salary: 50.000.000 VND.

• Shuttle bus, Heath care.
