SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Red Orange's Client is a company that specializes in the Construction industry and is looking for a Senior Accountant high qualified candidate for the position at the moment.

• Working location: Ho Chi Minh
• Salary: 20.000.000 - 30.000.000 VND (Net)
• Working time: Monday to Friday (08h00 - 17h00)
• Report to: COO Direct Reports: Payroll and Accounts Officer, Accounts Officer

MAIN DUTIES:

Financial Management & Reporting

Interpret financial information and provide commercial commentary to the leadership team.

Provide the COO and Director with monthly performance reports regarding job and project profitability.

Responsible for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and managing the company asset register.

tax-related returns (BAS, FBT, Income Tax) and lead the Forecasting and Budgeting process.

Monitor and reduce the business' overall Debtor Days Outstanding using best-practice technology.

Payroll OversightManage and oversee weekly payroll for employees in accordance with relevant agreements.

Handle Payroll Returns and Reconciliations, including PAYG, Superannuation, Workcover, and Payroll Tax.

Cross-check payroll coding to ensure accuracy and prevent incorrect penalties.

Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP)

Manage the group's AR/AP functions and oversee the delegating of invoice approvals.

Conduct credit checks for new customers and develop monthly plans to control due debtors and creditors.

Manage inter-company transactions across multiple entities and reconcile loan accounts in MYOB.

Team Leadership & Development

Manage, mentor, and support team members to achieve personal growth and KPIs.

Oversee daily department operations and resolve team conflicts as necessary.

Identify training needs and provide cross-training to ensure high performance across roles.

Education & Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounting or finance.

Certification: CPA certification is preferred.

Management: Prior people management and coaching experience is required.

Technical Skills

Advanced working knowledge of MYOB AccountRight and the Microsoft Suite.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and industry standards for surfacing/civil projects.

Core Competencies

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate technical financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
