R&D DIRECTOR

MAIN DUTIES:

• Define and execute the R&D strategy aligned with company objectives
• Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing R&D teams
• Oversee the full product development lifecycle (concept → launch)
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Regulatory, and Marketing teams
• Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
• Drive innovation through research, experimentation, and technology scouting
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements
• Evaluate and prioritize R&D projects based on ROI, feasibility, and risk
• Present progress, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s or PhD preferred (Engineering, Science, or related field)
• 8–12+ years of progressive R&D experience
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Strong background in product development and innovation management
• Experience translating research into scalable, market-ready solutions
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and decision-making skills
