PRODUCTION MANAGER

Red Orange Headhunt's Client is a company that specializes in Gypsum Board Industry who is looking for PRODUCTION MANAGER high qualified candidates for position at the moment.

• Work at: Ba Ria Vung Tau
• Salary: max 50mil

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Promote and ensure Safety, Health and Environment in the workplace

2. Schedule and monitor all phases of production process

- Manage people in different shift operation

- Recruit, train and supervise employees as needed. Initiate and lead development of employees, performance management and identify training needs. Demonstrate leadership through the development of team leaders in the area to help drive daily work and long-term improvements, analysis of shift performance

- Assure all team members receive appropriate training relative to daily work assignments and plant operating procedures and policies

- Good learning and understanding about product specification and delivered quality

- Work closely with different department to optimize production and efficiency

- Monitor daily production data waste analysis, overall equipment efficiency

- Supervise the production of quality products that meet company and customer requirements and improve productivity through more efficient use of personnel, raw materials, equipment, and process

- Establishes a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations

- Optimize raw material consumption and daily monitoring of raw material consumption

- Build and maintain good teamwork and industrial relationship

- Immediate decision making any problems to guide and monitor as a leader for team

3. Maintain and deliver product quality as per product specification

- Train and operate the production line as per the process control and product control parameter. Note down any deviation and do root cause analysis

- Make sure that product manufactured conforms to product specification in all

- Quickly solve unstable status found in production line, which may lead to quality issues or machine damages

4. Manage cost effectiveness

- Meet budget objectives for variable cost and continually seek areas to reduce costs

- Propose action plans on cost saving projects and implement the projects

5. Other tasks as assigned by BOM

RIGHTS:

1. Base on company performance target, distribution work load and target to production team operator and supervision activities

2. Supervisor and adjust production equipment and process follow SOP and guidelines or where the solution is not always obvious

3. Training and education production team member about skills & SOP for work stations, major performance indicators of factory production team and policies

4. Review Skill Matrix of production team member and advice training plan for organization development program.

5. Remind production team member about workshop hygiene standard, EHS policies.

EXPERIENCE:

• Engineering Degree majored in building materials, chemical, mechanical & engineering, operation.
  
• At least 3 years-experience in the related position.
  
• Be familiar with industrial management & control technological process of building materials.
  
• Working knowledge of gypsum process and mechanical operations preferred.

OTHER SKILLS: 

• Fluency in English and local language & computer skill
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Having good attitude and accept challenge to exceed deliverable expectation
  
• Knows basic level local labor law
  
• Good knowledge of problem solving technique and skill
  
• Knowledge of LEAN and Six sigma, continuous improvement is desirable
  
• Teamwork spirit with high collaboration, cooperation among teams
  
• Willingness and ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
  

• Salary range: Up to 50mil
