ROTalent Headhunt's Client is a company that specializes in Furniture industry who is looking for PROCESS QUALITY ENGINEERING MANAGER high qualified candidate for  position at the moment.

• Working Location: HO CHI MINH

Position Summary:

ROTalent's client is looking for an individual with at least 3 years expat experience in Asia and 3 years manufacturing experience to plan and evaluate process conformance and perform quality audits for current and future manufacturing and business processes across the sourcing offices and manufacturing partners and provide support to hardware and software designs. Take the lead in resolving manufacturing, customer and engineering issues, along with process improvements for current and future processes. Based in Vietnam with travel to China when needed. Position requires at least basic Chinese language skills and experience in sourcing and manufacturing. This is a full cycle role with various responsibilities that require specific skills to get the job done. This is considered a field position and though office space is available for use whenever needed, most of the daily tasks will be performed on site in manufacturing facilities or in transit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development, organization, and maintenance of SOPs

• KPM and KPI development for internal and external processes

• QC Reporting System/Software development, implementation, and maintenance.

• Project and Product Information Management System/Software development, implementation, and maintenance.

• Manufacturing optimization and continuous improvement systems development, implementation, and maintenance.

• Follows all projects tightly from starts to finish:

- New Product Development

- Production QA & QC

- Compliance

- Logistics

- Aftersales

• Factory oversight to check upon production and samples.

• Technical Product review and recommendation.

• Technical Documentation creation and maintenance.

• Troubleshoot aftersales issues.

• Manufacturer assessment and audits.

• Factories are located all across China and Vietnam.

• Key contact for communication and follow-up between China and Canada offices

• Formation, tool development and management framework of required teams within the organization

• Establishes and improves company procedures in all departments.

• As the primary person of knowledge in the field, this position may be called upon to do additional tasks outside normal responsibility as needed.

Required Skills:

• Native English speaker or English proficiency of C1 or above.

• Chinese language proficiency of HSK2 or above

• At least Three (3) years of related work experience in Asia

• At least Three (3) years of manufacturing experience

• Superior people, oral/written/listening communication skills

• Progressive growth in professional career

• Problem solving and analytical skills

• Strong attention to detail; proactive

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work in a team, as well as independently

• Focused and Positive attitude

• Demonstrated ability to work with financial numbers, both in presentations and in written communications.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.

• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs

• Ability to live in China for 5 years as expat.

• Comfortable with travel and working from multiple locations.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move a minimum of 20 pounds without assistance.

• Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time; full range of motion

Travel:

• As necessary to handle requirements in China, Vietnam and Canada
