ROTalent Headhunt's Client is a company that specializes in Packaging industry who is looking for high qualified candidate for Commercial Manager position at the moment.

  • Working location: Ho Chi Minh
  • Report to: CEO
  • Take care: Sales Team (10), Marketing(5) & Design Team
  • Company size: 150 employees



- To achieve annual targeted sales and margin through development of customer focused strategies.

- To develop increased value for existing customers.

- To deliver efficient customer service through regular communication framework (this includes where the customer believes we fall)

- To develop a strategy to develop new markets as well as developing new products

- To participate in company improvement projects focus on improving customer value and experience.

- To represent the company in a safe and responsible manner at all times.


- Key account management

- Customer service includes complaint resolution , this includes follow up

- Provision of information for financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting

- An awareness of production availability , lead times and technical details

- Research market for new customers and develop growth strategy

- Research market for new products and develop growth strategy

- Provide commentary, analysis and solutions to KPI’s and P&L’s

- Involved in the credit management of the customers


- Relationship management of key contacts – Meeting plan

- Hold reviews with Key Accounts

- Maintain a record of interfaces

- Generate Customer KPI’s , monitor and comment on adverse variances

- Receive complaints and oversee management through Complaints procedure providing updates and resolution

- Explore opportunities for increased sales

- Awareness and research of competitors-products , price, packaging

- Identify new customers and agree strategy to develop with Line Manager

- Identify potential improvement projects

  • Marketing

- Obtain market intelligence and interpret

- Feed in Customer stories and PR opportunities

- Assess opportunities – research routes to market

- Initiatives to promote products

- Review and look to improve product promotion be it packaging, POS , website

- Social media – create and post positive stories across all products


Job Requirement


- Commercial experience in selling (internal or external sales) preferably in similar products

- Marketing knowledge

- Project Management

- Leadership and organisational skills.

- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation.

- Basic IT skills (MS Office etc).

- Prepared to seek and adapt to change for the continuous improvement of the business (Determination, influence, communication).

- Innovative.

- Focused.

- Root Cause Analysis and problem solving.

- Attention to accuracy/ detail and confidentiality.

- Able to plan ahead, co-ordinate activity to meet deadlines and targets.

  • Have the following or working towards:

- Some Commercial/Selling experience

- Educated to degree level or similar

- Management training and coaching

- Project management skills


- Product margins

- Project database

- New Business

- New Product ideas



  • Salary: Negotiable
