LEATHER QUALITY INSPECTOR LEADER

MAIN DUTIES:

• Responsible for the quality control of material, in-process, and final shipments
• Demonstrates the ability to quickly learn and consistently follow strict operational processes and procedures.
• Independently prepares and submits inspection reports.
• Maintains professional and effective working relationships with customers and personnel at shoe factories
  

1. Knowledge and Experience

- A minimum of 3 years of industry experience, with substantial exposure to the following areas:

• Comprehensive understanding of physical property requirements for each type of articles and conducting various manual testing for evaluation
• Verification of leather measurements
• Proficiency in identifying and distinguishing color shades in each production lot
• Capability to categorize color variations and establish acceptable color window ranges
• Understanding the natural defects and knowledge in identifying it across different leather articles
• Familiarity with leather grading techniques using clean area concept
• Experience in conducting end-to-end leather inspections
• Understanding of various leather finishing and tanning processes

3. Skills

• Proficiency in spoken English
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer Proficiency, including competence with Windows, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel
