EHS MANAGER

ROTalent Headhunt's Client is a company that specializes in Industrial Construction field who is looking for EHS Manager high qualified candidate for position at the moment.

• Working Location: HCM
• Working Time: 

The incumbent will be generally responsible to lead Overall Vietnam EHS provisions, Supervise EHS Management System implementation, mentoring project EHS plan and program to meet project EHS policy and expectation of Company, Client and local EHS legislation requirements.

Main Duties:

• Implement and integrate a robust Environmental, Health and Safety strategy and proactively help establish a culture with full leadership and employee engagement through ownership of EHS at respective operational projects
• Responsible for the design and overall delivery EHS strategy, in line with relevant legislation and Company’s policy.
• Execute plans for continuous and sustainable improvement in EHS performance focusing on best practices, company’s policies and the business performance to ensure Injury Free Environment.
• Develop action plans for improvements process and occupational safety, occupational hygiene and environmental performance.
• Possess a thorough understanding of local/regional regulations and company policy.
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure operation compliance to all applicable Company’s EHS Policies.
• Analyse EHS metrics and review incident weekly and monthly incident trends to discover trends to justify the allocation of appropriate resources to projects where the safety risk is highest and report accordingly
• Mentor, lead and manage safety team on the project and coordinate with the wider project leadership. Ensure philosophy of safety being everyone’s responsibility is maintained
• Audit the project organization and associate behaviours to ensure that training, auditing and scoring methods are accurate and consistent
• Ensure site leadership and associates are trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy. Audit the quality, delivery (including qualifications of the trainer), and effectiveness of all required safety training.
• Review for effectiveness the deployed safety tools and revise to ensure continual improvement.

Education:

• Minimum Degree in Environment & Safety & Health

Working Experience:

• >5 years of experience in safety managerial position in construction firm to be the “Caption” of EHS department at Vietnam (EHS Manager)
• Shall equip with good networking among local authority and potential consultant.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

• Possess site experience
• Able to develop EHS program and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

Special Requirements:

• Be able to work flexible hours; work with tight schedules and based at Project as requirement
• Strong commitment and passion in delivering results
• Leadership and inspiring
